Personally, I don't want to know the details and past histories of all of my neighbors - any more than I want to know if the guy across the street from me cheats on his wife. As for the sex offenders, I don't want them harassed, living under bridges and unemployed - I want them coming home tired from their job, to a supportive partner/family, and financially stable. My kids are far safer when people are reintegrated into society - not demoralized and forced to live under bridges. This kind of website certainly doesn't help make our children safer... As for the news 'lying and exaggerating' it is easy enough to look up the actual legal details of this case and see the formal charges and indictments against them. This is not mere hearsay and bonds of $1 million are not handed out by judges lightly. And some of the truth might actually come out if it comes to trial but the sad truth is that so many people plea bargain themselves out of a trial and the whole story remains buried leaving the victims and the families with many unanswered questions.
